Excursion to Bavaria's Kφnigssee
Kφnigssee nestles in the mountains of the Berchtesgaden National Park below the Watzmann mountain.
The shimmering, emerald green water of the lake has attracted visitors from time immemorial. The pilgrimage St. Bartholomew church, a former hunting lodge of the Bavarian kings, also lies on the banks of the Kφnigsee. A boat trip on this wonderful lake is a must if you visit our German neighbours.
