That special cycling experience for guests at the Salzburger Hof in Leogang:
You can go on demanding bike tours accompanied by an experienced guide who will lead you to the most beautiful spots in the alpine mountain landscape. Only he knows the best trails that can be difficult to find on the map.
Gentle to challenging climbs and and great valley descents make every tour that extra bit special. And of course we cannot ignore that essential alpine touch. There are a lot of cosy huts and cycle friendly stops such as on the Alte Schmiede or Priesteregg.
Salzburgerhof offers guided tours seven times a week (June - Sept). We are aware of differing abilities so we divide participants into at least two groups. Shuttle transport is laid on to more distant starting points away from Leogang for tours that take in the breath-taking beauty of the Pinzgauer Alps. Of course your bike is carried free of charge and very save in the large bike storage room!
A unique challenge for all Freeriders:
The BIG-5-BIKE Challenge -
a special highlight for the biker scene: there are 5,000 meters in altitude to master with 1,000 meters uphill and the remainder downhill. There are five different lifts with special bike cabins, at disposal for the "Challengers", in order to carry up their bikes and tired bodies carefullyl and above all save sweating up the mountains. In the end it means delightfully attacking the narrow trails (80 %) and gravel paths (20%) back to the valley.

Start: Bikepark Leogang valley Station - Asitz Bergbahn - Single Trail (1.000 Hm) - Saalbach - Schattberg Xpress - Schattberg Ostgipfel - Westgipfel - World Games Single Trail - Hacklbergalm - Single Trail to Zwölferkogel cable car - "Speicherteich Zwölfer" - Hinterglemm - Reiterkogelbahn - blue Line - Hinterglemm - Saalbach - Kohlmais cable car - Single Trail to Wildenkarhütte - Schönleiten Hütte - Asitz top station - Hang Man (Single Trail) - middle station - Bikepark Leogang.
