Bike Park Leogang - An El Dorado for mountain bikers

The countless number of events held in the Bike Park proves that Leogang in Saalachtal is an El Dorado for mountain biking. The season starts every year with the now legendary 'Out of Bounds Weekend' where the world's best mountain bikers compete at the beginning of June. 2010: 24th-27th

The downhill stretch may deter beginners, but there is always the Bike Park Leogang 'FreeRide' made up of a two metre wide gravel track with numerous step ups and step downs, sharp bends, mogules, tables and tunnels to suit both the beginner and more experienced mountain bikers.

And it also includes a biker cross, dual slalom and MTB course.

New: A second freeride trail, the BongoBongo, diverts from the Flying Gangster about half way down. The Bongo Bongo is spiced up with a lot of northshore and solid rock sections, as well as berms and wallrides. A trail made for the experienced riders looking for flow.

The Hangman (Single Trail) can be divided in two main sections: A) From the mountain station to the middle station (technically very challenging, including tricky pants on small single trails and northshore elements. A mad experience.
B) From the eastside of the middle station to the valley station: This is a nice and easy going trail.
